Bard on the Beach

The goal of this “Bard on the Beach” annual report was to marry quirky theatricality with an astute business sense. Drawings of Fifteenth Century caricatures and settings offset the subtle uniformity of the layout’s contemporary feel.To give this annual report a look crossed with modernism and ancient times, I set Futura type onto a yellowish, tactile background that suggests age. This all gelled successfully with the loose and fanciful illustrations incorporated in the piece.
